Within the church, there are occasions which we bless. There are many different types of occasions, including ministry to those who are sick, dying, or healing, ministry to celebrate new circumstances or events in one's life. 

As Christians, we are followers of Christ in all aspects of our lives, not just those that happen in a church building or an hour on Sunday. We do blessings for these occasions to bring our lives to God, give thanks and ask for God's help and guidance throughout our discipleship journey. 

Some blessings include: Blessing of a home, Farewell and Godspeed (when moving), adoption of a child, before the birth of a child, new career or chapter in one's life, birthdays, broken or reconciled relationships, creation, pets, and many more.
